About American Buffalo Metals
American Buffalo Metals is a secondary aluminum foundry located in the heart of the industrial park in Crossville, Alabama. With a dedicated team of employees, we specialize in producing high-quality secondary A356 aluminum in both sow and ingot forms.
Our operations are rooted in sustainability, innovation, and a deep respect for the environment. We source recycled aluminum—primarily aluminum wheels—from scrap yards across the Southeastern United States. Through our advanced remelting processes, we transform these materials into valuable raw aluminum products, with approximately 99% of our output derived from recycled content. We distinguish ourselves as a high-quality secondary aluminum foundry with specialized expertise in the A356.2 alloy.
As an ISO 9001 certified company, we are committed to maintaining rigorous quality standards and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of our operations. Our products serve as essential raw materials for manufacturers across various industries, contributing to a more circular and environmentally responsible supply chain.

We are proud members of the Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) and are actively working toward full certification. This reflects our dedication to responsible production, sourcing, and stewardship of aluminum. By aligning with ASI’s globally recognized standards, we reinforce our commitment to ethical business practices, environmental sustainability, and transparency throughout our value chain.
At American Buffalo Metals, our core values—Honor, Courage, and Commitment—guide everything we do. From the integrity of our processes to the strength of our team and the reliability of our products, these principles shape our identity and drive our mission forward. We take pride in our craftsmanship, our people, and our role in advancing sustainable manufacturing. Together, we’re forging a future where recycled aluminum powers progress—responsibly and reliably.
